Cookie categories

What is set, when, and under what consent.

01No consent required

Strictly necessary

Required for the website to function — session continuity, security, accessibility preferences, cookie-consent state. These cookies do not require user consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

02Consent required

Preferences

Remember user-selected display preferences (language, theme) where applicable. Set only after user consent.

03Consent required

Analytics

Google Analytics 4, configured via the Google tag (G-JMC9CXBSL5), measures page views and aggregate website usage so Ascendia can understand which institutional content is consulted. The tag is present with Consent Mode defaults set to denied; analytics measurement is enabled only after analytics consent. Advertising storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation are denied by default.

04Consent required · Currently none

Marketing

Ascendia does not currently set marketing cookies on this surface. Where institutional partners run third-party widgets (e.g. embedded videos), their cookies are governed by their own policies and are loaded only after user consent.
